Eng. Mohamad Swaidan

A civil and structural engineer with in-depth applied knowledge of computational structural modelling, dynamic and seismic load calculation, and the detailed design of reinforced-concrete and steel structures. He works as a lead structural engineer within the engineering team of Swaidan Engineering & Consultancy, following up designs, calculating quantities, and ensuring that construction complies with international specifications and codes.

   • Carrying out structural analysis and design for residential buildings, commercial complexes, and service and industrial facilities.
   • Preparing detailed shop drawings and reinforcement schedules for concrete elements: foundations, columns, beams and stairs.
   • Checking structural calculations and wind and seismic resistance in accordance with recognised engineering standards (ACI, UBC, Eurocodes).
   • Preparing detailed bills of quantities (Bill of Quantities — BOQ), reviewing specifications, and following up on-site concrete testing.
