Fata Hellani

A distinguished technical and military leadership career: he has served as Head of the IT Section at the Directorate of Geographic Affairs (DAG) of the Lebanese Army since 1996. An accredited expert in satellite image processing, remote sensing, aerial photography and digital surveying, he manages Swaidan's Bekaa office and leads major field projects, the establishment and management of quarries and industrial ventures, and the subdivision and parcelling of investment land.

1. 1996 — Present

   Head of the IT Section

   Directorate of Geographic Affairs — Lebanese Army— Lebanon

   • Leading military geographic survey teams.
   • Digital processing of satellite imagery.
   • Building national geographic databases through remote sensing and aerial photography systems.
2. 2018 — Present

   Project Manager and Bekaa Office Manager

   Swaidan Engineering & Consultancy— Bekaa, Lebanon

   • Managing and establishing quarry and sand-crusher projects across Lebanon, from site selection, impact studies and licensing through to operation.
   • Leading major property subdivision and parcelling projects, and overseeing every stage of planning, surveying and delivery.
   • Coordinating with the relevant ministries, governorates, municipalities and cadastral departments to ensure full legal and engineering compliance.
   • Managing budgets and resources, and resolving logistical and regulatory issues in complex field environments.
